Miscellaneous Information
All of the crew were injured in varying degrees and were takne to Haderslev County hospital in Haderslev, where Marian Blachowski died from his wounds on 13 October at 0045 hrs. Rev. Beuck of Åbenrå officiated at the funeral and a German detachment of honour fired a salute. Wreaths were laid on behalf of the German Wehrmacht by Major Dr. Uetzmann and on behalf of the Danish Police by Head of Police Schack. |
