| Reason for Aircraft Loss | Shot down by a night-fighter (Oblt Gerhard Loos I./NJG1) and crashed 0226 at Altforst (Gelderland) 20 km west of Nijmegen. Loos was flying a Me110 and incorrectly claimed the aircraft as a Halifax. He was himself killed in action, flying a Fw190, by American fighters during March 1945. |
