Born 22 March 1919 in Hull. |
His father, George Bayram (civilian) was an Aircraft Fitter metal fabricator and a heating engineer. Killed by Enemy Action in an Air Raid 4 February 1941 at 171 Goddard Avenue, Hull, aged 60 years. Beverley Road. His wife was in the dining room, the children in bed, and making a coffee when the bomb exploded and he was killed instantly. Their Anderson shelter was demolished. Mrs. Bayram (57 years old) also killed but the children survived. They had been married for 32 years with three daughters and a son (Clarence). Buried Saturday 8 February1941, Northern Cemetery, Hull. |
