Reason for Loss | On return flew into a Radar mast on Bord Hill and crashed 01:21 15 Jan 1945 near Langham airfield, Norfolk. Poor weather conditions and the possibility that the crew may have received a garbled W/T message advising the destination of a diversionary airfield are thought to have been contributory factors in this tragic accident. |
