Miscellaneous Information
F/L Barlow and Sgt Paul's bodies were recovered and buried at Becklingen shortly after the crash but the other bodies were never located. Recently, two grand-daughters of Ronald Barton have successfully campained to halt the building of a housing estate on the crash site to allow excavation of the site in search of the remains of the other six crew. A memorial was erected at the site exactly 72 years after the aircraft crashed. |
