Miscellaneous Information
P/O A K R Steele (Pilot), Sgt A E Baggaley (Flight Engineer), Sgt D W Lee (Wireless Operator) and Sgt E H Bailey (Air Gunner) were all rushed to Shaftesbury Hospital where Sgt Bailey died. P/O Steele had remained with his aircraft but was thrown clear on impact, whereas the other survivors had bailed out. |
