Reason for Loss S/L Skeet was ‘A’ Flight Commander 8 May 1942 – 16 June 1942. Posted to No. 10 Squadron 16 June 1942 but did not report for duty. He was found dead from a gunshot wound at the Knavesmire Hotel, York 26 June 1942. The Coroner recorded a verdict of Suicide.
