Reason for Loss Hit by a bus while walking on a road close to midnight in the vicinity of Chelveston (as reported in the Northampton Mercury 29/5/42). The bus had served to avoid cyclists and overturned. Sgt Nugus was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.
