Reason for Loss Died of Status Epilecticus (a sustained form of epileptic fit) at station sick quarters, Mildenhall. It is not yet clear whether his condition may have been exacerbated by a series of air raids in the days prior to his death. There were such raids on 27th November 1940 and both 2nd and 3rd February 1941.
