Operation
Reason for Loss On the 30th November 1940 he and his wife Winifred decided to go on a shopping trip. They set out for the day in their motorcycle combination and on the Oxford Road near Bicester, not far from the airfield where he was stationed, it was in collision with a military truck and Winifred was thrown from the sidecar, suffering only from shock and bruising. Tetlow, however, had been killed instantly.
